Hello, there! My name is Larry Reynolds, and I am Owner/President of LR Custom Homes in Houston, Texas. A native Houstonian with 40 years of experience in new home construction, I founded my building company in 2007 to serve folks seeking the highest standards in new home construction and home renovation.
Building luxurious custom homes of superior quality and featuring the finest materials, finest craftmanship, and latest in trends and techniques is the hallmark of my business. I take care of all aspects of construction personally. My goal is to deliver to every customer the ultimate design and build experience.

From initial consultation through completion of the project, I maintain close and open communication with each client, including regular construction and planning meetings, to ensure that their new home or home renovation is everything they want it to be, I also partner with some of the most outstanding architects, realtors, and home decorator/designers in the Houston area.
Building on your home site is my specialty (and if you don’t have one, I call help you with that as well). Consultations and estimates are always free, and depending on your preference, I can build on a cost plus or fixed contract basis.

Our Process
Step 1:
Start a conversation. We will discuss your vision for your new home including size, design, and specifications. If a home site has not already been selected, I will work to find a location for your new home.
Step 2:
Upon establishing a home site, we will begin home design with one of my architect partners. An extensive interview process is undertaken at this time to determine the complete layout of the new home.
Step 3:
Architect shall deliver a preliminary set of plans for review. At this time we will discuss floor plan design and flow, cosmetic and decorating elements, ideas for cost savings, etc. Any revisions to the architectural plans are made at this time, and I can provide you with a rough estimate of cost.
Step 4:
Upon completion of final architectural building plans, a preliminary construction budget can be prepared. Plans go to structural engineering at this time to determine foundation and framing requirements. Once engineering is completed, I will prepare
an accurate final budget based on the finished architectural plans, engineering, and specifications.
Step 5:
Upon approval of the final budget, I will prepare a contract to be signed by both parties. This contract will include an extensive list of specifications and allowances, draw schedule, and a final price.
